Everything we make is a custom order so place your order with plenty of time to create your designs. You should consider placing your wedding cake order 6 to 8 months in advance.

Linda from Linda's Cakery created the Peacock Cake above for the Weddings Year Round Wedding Show at the Eden Resort on Feb 5th. The competition was to create a cake that represented spring for the show. A lot of you saw it and voted this cake "Peoples Choice Award" Thanks for taking the time and we appreciated your vote. The display cake took 3 weeks to create. I know your asking right now how does a cake stay fresh for that long. Due to the rules I was the only one allowed to work on this display cake.
If we were making a real cake there would be three of us working on it and we would start with the flowers, and there are too many to count. Then I created the bird. This peacock was made of rice cereal treats covered in white chocolate then covered in modeling chocolate. Next we would make lots of feathers in three sizes. I cut out each feather and dust the lime green first then add the light blue, teal, then hand paint the purple lines. The last step is to dust the gold edge on each feather. The last thing we would do is bake the cake ice it and pull it all together, sand back and say Wow!
